Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HBP Energy Group, LLC ("HBP Energy," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at hbpenergy.com (the "Site") and any valuation, advisory, or related services we provide (together with the Site, the "Services").

By visiting the Site, submitting your information, requesting a mineral rights valuation, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of another person or an entity — for example, as an agent, executor, or family representative — you confirm that you have authority to do so and to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Description of Services

HBP Energy Group, LLC is a Texas limited liability company operating in the oil and natural gas industry, with a focus on mineral rights valuation.

Our primary service is providing free mineral rights valuations to property and mineral interest owners. When you request a valuation, we review the information you provide — such as your ownership documents, lease records, division orders, and property details — and prepare an estimate of what your mineral interest may be worth in the current market.

We may also provide related advisory services, which can include:

  • Explaining the documents and terminology involved in mineral ownership
  • Reviewing lease terms, royalty arrangements, and division orders
  • Discussing market conditions that may affect the value of your interest
  • Facilitating transactions between mineral owners and interested buyers, where both sides choose to proceed

A valuation is an estimate, not an offer or a guarantee. A valuation is based on the information available to us at the time it is prepared, along with our judgment about market conditions. It is not an appraisal, a title opinion, a legal opinion, a tax opinion, or investment advice, and it should not be relied on as any of those things. Actual offers, if any, and actual sale prices may differ from a valuation. Any transaction is subject to separate written agreements and to our verification of ownership and title.

We reserve the right to decline any valuation request or transaction for any lawful reason, including incomplete or unverifiable ownership information.

Use of Website

You agree to use the Site and the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with anyone else's use of them. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information about yourself or your mineral interest
  • Submit information you do not have the right to share
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest content or contact information from the Site
  • Use the Site to send spam or to advertise without our written permission
  • Copy, modify, distribute, or resell any part of the Site or the Services without our written consent
  • Do anything that could damage, disable, or overload the Site

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us. If your ownership situation changes — for example, if an interest is sold, transferred, or inherited — please let us know so we can keep our records current.

We may suspend or end your access to the Site or the Services if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Services unlawfully.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas and federal law, HBP Energy Group, LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any content on the Site is accurate, complete, or current. Mineral rights valuations depend on market conditions, production data, and documents provided by others, all of which can change. We make no promise about the outcome of any valuation, any offer, or any transaction.

Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Please consult your own attorney, accountant, or financial advisor before making decisions about your mineral interest.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HBP Energy Group, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, royalties, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the Services — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HBP Energy Group, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Site or the Services
  • Information you submit that is false, inaccurate, or that you did not have the right to share
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party

We will notify you of any such claim and may, at our option, participate in or take over the defense. You may not settle any claim in a way that imposes obligations on us without our written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Services, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
